This is MY TIME

So often we prioritize everything above us and we leave little time to take care of ourselves and our bodies. Carving out time to focus on you is so important and it starts by making the commitment to move a daily basis.

This may sound like a big task and you may already be cutting yourself short saying “I can’t work out every day!”  You don’t have to work out every day, but you do have to move!  

Start small and set aside 15-20 minutes and fully commit to this time. I like using the mantra "This Is MY Time" as I'm getting ready for my morning workout. This helps me focus and set an intension for this time. For me, having “my time” is best in the morning. I have no excuses; the obstacle is only you.

The night before, set out your gym clothes…down to the socks. What do you want to dedicate that time to? Cardio, strength, yoga, it’s up to you. YouTube is a great resource to get you going. See my favorite fitness influencers and motivators below. These are quick videos or routines that make you break a sweat. 

Start small and build from there…20 minutes, leads to 30, and soon enough you will be hoping out of bed ready for your gym swagger!

Conkissta - Trunk Show

Conkissta Mochila is having its first TRUNK SHOW on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Bash & Bow Gift Shop in Gramercy (NYC). 

Conkissta Mochila's are handmade by the Wayuu Tribe in Northern Colombia and can take up to 30 days make!  I love the mini mochilas and clutches, not to mention all the great items that Bash & Bow already has!

Bang Bang

Hola Hola! Last week I took a dive into the deep end Fall hair and got bangs!! I went in to Josey at Dop Dop Salon for a refresher on my baliage/ombre and was toying with the idea of getting bangs. Josey is the BANG Queen! Homegirl hookd it up...It only took 3 three hours in the salon chair (I have A LOT of hair). Seriously, you gotta get #bangedbyjosey

Bangs + balayage = Fresh, Fun Fall hair!

I loved that line from My Week with Marilyn, and was so excited for Yardley's Lavender and Finesse Lavender! A night time bath or shower with these two products totally relaxed and soothed me to sleep! 

According to research, the smell of  Lavender lowers heart rate and blood pressure, putting you in a relaxed state. This is so true. 

Also, there isn't any animal testing on these products. So your conscious is guilt free.

GlamPact - Product Review

We asked makeup lover and Qurious Q contributor, Jani to review the Glam Pact, a super cute all-in-one compact that comes with everything you need including perfect lighting and brushes. Check out her pros & cons! 

Excited to get our hands dirty 

Cute & Portable 

PRO: 
We are a fan of its cool packaging and organization. Every compartment has a place to keep the product nice and neat. There is even a clear partition between the foundation and the mirror to protect the mirror. It also comes with a USB cord to recharge the battery. The sponges are also great. Loved those.

CON:
Although the brushes are cute they are hard to use. Because they are super small, it makes it even harder to use on the go. Also, the blush brush is tiny yet wide, so it picks up all the other colors (highlighter & bronzer). It's a shame that the foundation was too too light for our skin tone, so we couldn't use it and the blush and eye shadow colors didn't have enough pigment and left a chalky finish. 

Final Thoughts: 
Its a great concept and we hope that they can expand to include more skin tone colors and focus on the quality of the makeup.
